The Makonde are an ethnic group in southeast Tanzania and northern Mozambique. The band "Makonde" was based in Nairoibi and created a fusion of tribal Makonde/Bantu traditional music with hard funk, jazz with driving djembe drumming. 12" plays loud and clean, blue vinyl! cover is VG+. A big IC fave ;)
