Scored by the avant NY luminary Peter Zummo in 1985 and accompanied by his close friend on cello Arthur Russell. The highlight here is "Song IV". It's endlessly wondrous, like a morning chant, featuring light tablas, by Bill Ruyle, along with slight electronic processing and has almost a whisper like feature of Russell's cello/voice and Zummos' unique trombone breath-like rhythmic skronk. As pitchfork said "Song IV" is "pure manna". Original LPs are sealed DMM pressings. We have limited stock of these via Zummo. On sale via 50/50 split with the artist.Highly Recommended!
